Person shot, critically injured, in shooting at apartment complex on Indianapolis west side
A person is in critical condition after a shooting Thursday night at an apartment complex on the west side of Indianapolis.
Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department officers and Indianapolis News emergency personnel were called around 11 p.m. to the 5900 block of Beachview Drive, near 10th Street, on the report of a person shot, IMPD Officer Genae Cook said in an email.
They found the victim in critical condition when they arrived, Cook said.

This is the second shooting Thursday night in Indianapolis. A person is also in critical condition after a shooting downtown.
