All the curfews governors have set in their states as protests rage on, and how long you should expect them to last
- Curfews have been put in place in cities across the US as protests over the death of George Floyd sweep the country.
- Some state governors have stepped in to mandate curfews in certain areas.
- In Minnesota, where Floyd died, Gov. Tim Walz announced a two-day curfew for Minneapolis and St. Paul from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m on May 29. On May 31, he extended the curfew one more day. On June 1, he further extended the curfew to June 3 and modified the hours from 10 p.m. to 4 a.m.
- In New York, Gov. Andrew Cuomo announced a curfew for New York City on Monday from 11 p.m. to 5 a.m. The mayor then extended it on Tuesday to start at 8 p.m. through the end of the week.
- The governor of Arizona implemented a statewide curfew from May 31 to June 8.
